Espers invites players to step into the shoes of magic-wielders known as Espers, individuals capable of bending reality through raw magical energy. In a world where the once-revered Espers are now persecuted by the authoritarian Myrillian Empire, your party must rise above the fear, face ancient threats, and embrace the power of fate.

Whether you choose to become heroes, rebels, scholars, or rogues, every action you take will ripple through the story. Wield magic, uncover ancient mysteries, and engage in tactical battles where Fate itself—represented by a deck of cards—determines the flow of combat and narrative.

  • Fate-Driven Combat: A deck of cards, known as Fate, assists traditional ability rolls to govern combat. Each suit corresponds to different Actions, requiring strategy in both deck-building and gameplay.

  • Dynamic Deckbuilding: Modify your Fate deck as you progress through the game—adding or removing cards based on choices, encounters, or achievements—to shape your character’s destiny.

  • Class-Free Magic System: Build your character without strict class restrictions. Choose from various Magic Arts—like Enchantment, Aegis, Ruin, and more—that define your abilities and role in the world.

  • Narrative Freedom: Whether you are rebels dismantling the Myrillian Empire, explorers uncovering ancient Espers, or scholars learning forbidden magic, the story responds to player decisions, ensuring no two campaigns are the same.

  • High-Stakes Roleplay: With magic, rebellion, and personal stakes at play, players must balance individual goals with the fate of their group. Every action can change not only the flow of combat but the trajectory of the story itself.
